I'm Claudia (Smalley). Mama to Luke. Wife to Jared. Pediatric critical care nurse, but in another life I would plan parties until I was blue in the face. I try to be crafty, but mostly just dabble in some quilting, scrapbooking, or whatever looks fun (and easy). I always knew I wanted a handful of babies, but I never knew (until I had Luke) how freaking much I was meant to be a mother. I am obsessed with all things baby (still love helping plan a good wedding or party though too) and have learned a hell of a lot in Luke's short little life so far.
My Life : I've lived in Hershey, Pennsylvania (the Sweetest place on Earth) since I was four. I met my husband, Jared, when we were 11, and we've been dating on and off ever since. We've been 'on' since we were 16 and graduated high school together. After changing majors/colleges a few times, nursing stuck, I graduated and began working as a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse in 2009 in my hometown at the Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital. Over the next few years, Jared and I bought a house, got married, and made a baby! Luke was born in March 2014 and we are absolutely in love with him and our life. While we are both working and figuring out how this whole parenting thing works, I am also in graduate school working towards my master's degree in nursing.
